Howdy, howdy, Internet~Land. I hope you are well on this Friday afternoon … well, it’s afternoon here, anyway. Things have been really moving the last couple weeks. We had our annual Vacation Bible School, so that took a lot of preparation. If you’d like to see my “Ark,” you can scroll to the previous post for a link to the video. Then at work, I had a project booth for our “Continuous Improvement & Safety Fair.” I had some display boards to design, along with a “hands on” participation project for all the people who came by the booth! Then, of course, I wanted to have a new project done for the blog.

So, that brings me to today’s post. Since my 70cm Resinsoul arrived, I’ve been working on parts of his outfit bit by bit. First was the Doctor Who wig pattern, then the Basic Pattern Pieces Set (from which I draft all my clothing items), and then the Shirt pattern (both drafting it & sewing it). You can watch vidoes for all these on my YouTube channel. Now it’s time for the Pants pattern. Hello, hello, all my friends in Internet~Land! Last week was VERY busy as I planned, shopped, and built an “Ark” for our church’s Vacation Bible School! It was such a fun project, but I was definitely NOT prepared for the results of being up & down on a chair for 14 hours!!! WOW ~ was I SORE!!! Not to worry ~ it only took about four days to be back to normal 🙂

I thought I’d try a “vlog style” video to show my process, so come along with me as we build!

Hello, hello, friends in Internet~Land! I’m happy to say that I’ve been able to get lots of dolly things done. The first project was my set of five Spring Outfits for my third scale gals. I am very satisfied with the results of my labors! Wow ~ ALL those buttons and snaps!!! 🙂

Once the girls were all decked out, I started on The Doctor’s ensemble. So far ~ I have his wig done, the Basic Pattern Piece Set done, the Dress Shirt Pattern done, and I just finished sewing his first shirt together. If you would like to see how I sew a shirt, I will post the link to the video below, and you can join me for a sewing spell! The next things he will need will be the suit: pants, a vest, and a jacket.

I’m also happy to report that my Resinsoul white Mi head arrived safe & sound from the company. I’m excited to get the faceup done, so her head will finally match the color of her body! I think that project may be my next video. Hmmm … suit pattern or faceup? Not quite sure yet what I will choose. I would work on it tonight, but I need to be up in the morning at 3:45am for an overtime shift. So, off to dreamland I go. Until I’m back, I wish you all very sweet dreams!
