Now the MSD Size of Hobie’s Suit

Hell.o, dear Internet~Land! And now is the 1/4 scale size of the new suit pattern. Remember, MSD size BJDs and dolls come in many variations of size and shape, so some tweaking may be necessary when using my patterns. I always recommend using some scrap muslin type fabric when making your first draft to ensure a good fit. You want a correctly adjusted pattern before cutting into any good and/or expensive fabric!

The New Suit Pattern Is Here!

Hello and good evening, dear Internet~Land! The new color blocking suit pattern set is now ready for you to print and sew. This first version is for the 1/3 scale fellas, but I’m also working on a 1/4 scale set that will be ready soon. A couple things to note: first, the shirt and coat have pieces separated and ready for color blocking as well as pieces that are just plain, single pieces. A code is included to help you navigate through the collection. Second, the color blocking pieces have one edge with a larger seam allowance. This is because I plan to hem the longer edges and sew the seams “inside out.” The larger, hemmed edge will overlap the other and lay on top of the garment. We’ll go over the “how to” in the sewing video. Until then, feel free to check this out, download, save, and print. Enjoy!

Some News & A New Pattern Started!

Greetings, dear Internet~Land! I’m so excited to have a fresh, reorganized space for creating and working. By necessity, my room is very multifunctional ~ used for drafting, sewing, working, filming, storage, and of course sleeping. With the previous placement of furniture and shelving, I was beginning to feel very trapped. Not very conducive to productivity. If you’d like, come along for a look at my new surroundings, and we’ll celebrate with the start of a brand new 1/3 scale male BJD pattern set. The completed set will be posted later this week. Much love!
