Third Scale BJD Color-Block Suit Series

Hello, hello, dear Internet~Land! Our new project has now been completed. Below are videos for cutting/prepping, jacket sewing, and then finishing up the look. I already have quite a few videos for sewing male BJD button-up shirts and pants, so rather than repeating all that information, I just added links to those videos in the descriptions. The main sewing video in this series focusses on how I did the color-blocking and applique pieces for the jacket. I also showed how I added some fusible interfacing to add a bit more structure to the jacket. Just as a side note, I also added fusible interfacing to the collar & cuffs of the shirt as well as the waistband of the pants. I will post the video links below in chronological order. Enjoy & happy sewing!

That turned out great! I wish I still had the photos from when I drafted a dress for the iplehouse I used to have. I used my lutterloh books and to make surprisingly little in the way of alterations. I still have my little BJD ai doll. I should see if the patterns for children’s garments work on her, hehe. Thanks for the reminder about Lentil(my doll)
