7 COATS ~ PURPLE OUTFIT
Greetings! Here is outfit number six, the Purple Coat set. This one features a fitted, cropped coat with a front zipper opening and front decorative tabs on either side as well as the sleeve cuffs. I’m very happy with how it turned out, so let’s take a look at how it goes together.

Hello, dear Internet~Land! We’re now moving on to sewing the BLUE Coat Set. I had fun on this one, but it is quite a bit more detailed with the four pockets on the front and the addition of beltloops to the waistband on the pants. Hello, dear Internet~Land! It’s now time to complete the fourth outfit in the 7 Coats ~ 7 Colors Pattern Collection. This coat will have more of a sport coat cut, but we’ve added some fun new details to the design. The back and sleeves will feature inset pleats, and the lapel will have fixed loops to hold a lovely honey bee pin!

7 Coats ~ YELLOW Outfit
Hello, hello, dear Internet~Land! Here we have the video tutorial for putting together the Yellow Coat outfit. Since we’ve already sewn the T-shirt and pants twice, we won’t spend as much time on those items. This video will focus more on the steps involved in sewing the coat and cap for this set. Hello, hello, dear Internet~Land! It’s time to move on to the next coat in our series. This will be the ORANGE coat outfit for Suga. It’s a longer length coat with front & back yoke pieces, an Oxford pleated back, front patch pockets, and cuffed sleeves. The loose fitted T-shirt is from the same pieces as the one in the previous post/video, and the set is finished out with a pair of faux leather, zipper-legged pants. I will link the pattern sets in both 1/3 and 1/6 scale below. Enjoy!

Hello, Dear Internet~Land! It’s time to start sewing the designs in the 7 Coats ~ 7 Colors Collection. We’ll start with RED!
7 Coat Pattern Set Now Ready for 11 Inch Size
Whew! OK, Internet~Land, the 1/6 scale (11″/28cm) size set is now ready to be posted! This set took a while to get ready because it was a LOT of work to scale down and add all the needed text to the pieces. These images had to be reduced twice, since the copier I used did not have the option to hand type in the percentage I wanted. Some of the pieces still need to be assembled just like in the larger scale size, and remember to be mindful that you may need to cut outside the pattern edge to make sure you have enough seam allowance. It’s as close as I could get, so as always ~ try a design in an inexpensive fabric first to ensure accurate fit. Many of these pattern pieces were also too small to include the design images, so the smaller ones are matched with color coded dots. For all you fellow Mattel 11 inch BTS Doll collectors I hope this will be a helpful addition for your sewing ambitions! Enjoy!
