In this video we will sew the actual gown. When I checked over the instructions, I found this would also include the lace skirt overlay. I had previously thought that would be a separate piece, so lets take a look at how it fits together.

Greetings, dear Internet~Land! I hope you are all well and safe as we continue our journey in the beginnings of 2024. In this video I will be trying something a bit new for me. Instead of designing a new pattern, I am going to sew someone else’s. The design of this gown is a lovely look from the 1800s. When it arrived, I anxiously looked over all the instructions and pieces. I think I can do this! The finished outfit will consist of five garments: a combination underwear item, a petticoat skirt, a gown, an over-skirt, and an over-bodice. For good measure, I’ll also be adding a hat to the outfit that I purchased from a wonderful creator at my Wagon Wheel Doller Doll Show. (Our next show is the 23rd of this month.) I’ve also added the images and PDF file for the “Doll Measurements Chart” below the video link. Hello again, Internet~Land! I decided to put together a cute soft sculpted doll chair. This will fit 1/4 to 1/3 scale dolls, and all in all I think it turned out pretty cute. Hope it inspires you to try something that might be a new adventure!

Hello, dear Internet~Land! Tonight we’re going to go through the process of altering an already existing pattern to create a new design. Someone in one of my facebook groups is working on designing an outfit from an anime called Howl’s Moving Castle. It’s a great capelike coat that’s worn over the shoulders and features a very distinct diamond design. The idea was to use the Wrap Coat Pattern as a base. I saw the progress and volunteered some assistance to see if we could come up with a pattern to reflect the vision. Here’s my process to arrive at the desired destination. Hello, dear Internet~Land. Today I have a simple “hanging out with friends” type of video. We’ve been stuck in the house for several days due to the icy weather.
